LogMeIn Hamachi is powerful hosted VPN software that enables users of all knowledge leves to quickly and easily create secure connections between their devices and networks by creating extended public and private LAN-like network. With it anyone can easily create secure virtual networks that can be accessed by novices, professionals, mobile users, distributed teams and business applications.  In just seconds user can create their own networks, and even though their PCs are located all around the world, Hamachi will bring them together and fool their network adapters in thinking PCs are in facts connected in local home network. This can be incredibly important not only for users who want to create local networks for gaming, but also for professionals and businesses whose software is more geared to work in a LAN environment. By having LogMeIn Hamachi installed on your PC, almost every piece of software who is leaning heavily on LAN connectivity can be fooled to easily work with distant computers inside fully automatic VPN environment.

Hamachi has very intuitive user interface which can be managed and maintained securely from anywhere via the web. Creators of this app from the development house LogMeIn Inc. pride themselves by enabling users to have access to “zero configuration” utility, in which complicated networking procedures are managed automatically by the app themselves, enabling users to use Hamachi more or less like an ordinary chat client. One of the users creates a new session room (free for entry or pasworded) and then other clients just login into that room. That’s all that it takes. Their PCs are now part of the singe virtual private network and they can easily maintain direct communication, measure their ping and chat.

New Features of LogMeIn Hamachi:

On-demand networking. Create and manage virtual networks on-demand as you need them.

Centralized software deployment. Quickly and easily provision virtual network client software to new computers without having to go onsite. Simply send end users a link to download and install the client to participate in a specific virtual network.

Manage and restore networks. Manage and restore virtual networks for end-users with the click of a mouse, from anywhere via the web.

Gateway virtual networking. Provide remote users with secure access to your private network/LAN, including the resources on it, from a centralized LogMeIn Hamachi² gateway, without modifying firewalls or network routers.

Hub-and-spoke virtual networking. Provide remote users with secure access to specific computers on your network, from any location, without modifying firewalls or network routers.

Mesh networking. Connect all of your network clients to each other. Quickly and easily create a simple, virtual, mesh network that allows remote machines to directly connect to each other, thereby giving users basic network access to all the network resources they need.

Encrypted communications. Secure communications using AES 256-bit encryption, over public and private networks.
